Changes AUSI Definitions – September 2007
NEW DEFINITIONS – SEPTEMBER 2007
AUSI Adventure Program:
AUSI Adventure Programs include AUSI Scuba Experience, AUSI Scuba Adventure, certified
scuba diving, snorkel swimming and snorkel diving.
AUSI Professional:
An AUSI Head Office registered AUSI Snorkel Swimming Instructor, AUSI Snorkel Diver
Instructor (any level), AUSI Level VI Professional (Dive Master) or AUSI Scuba Instructor (any
level).
AUSI Training Organisation:
An AUSI Head Office registered training organisation that is authorised to conduct AUSI Snorkel
and/or Scuba Programs.
AUSI Adventure Centre:
An AUSI Head Office registered training organisation that is authorised to conduct AUSI
Adventure Programs. An AUSI Adventure Centre can be either an AUSI Snorkel Adventure Centre
or an AUSI Scuba Adventure Centre.
AUSI Training Centre:
An AUSI Head Office registered training organisation that is authorised to train and certify AUSI
Divers. An AUSI Training Centre can be either an AUSI Snorkel Training Centre or an AUSI
Scuba Training Centre.
AUSI Academy:
An AUSI Head Office registered training organisation that is authorised to train AUSI Instructors.
An AUSI Academy can be either an AUSI Snorkel Academy or an AUSI Scuba Academy.

Free Fee Policy:
There are no AUSI Joining Fees, AUSI Registration Fees or AUSI Renewal Fees for AUSI
Professionals, AUSI Training Organisations or AUSI Cross Over Candidates however, there may
be a minimum purchase requirement.
